About UsYuck Old Paint® was founded by Chief Yuck Officer, Raea Jean Leinster, in response to an unmet market need to remove old paint cans from the multitude of clients she has worked with for over a decade as a faux finisher and decorative painter.

Deborah has 10 years of sales, operations and logistics experience with companies in various trade industries (HVAC, plumbing, disaster restoration, junk hauling). She used to refer her customers to Yuck Old Paint, now she works for us! Deborah oversees the daily, gritty details of warehouse operations and field team logistics.

Earl has 13 years experience with professional fire services and is currently with the Baltimore City Fire Department. When he’s not driving the big red fire truck, he’s driving the green Yuck truck, rescuing paint from Maryland landfills at customer locations and at paint recycling events.
• Joel K., Planet Protector Gladiator
Joel (veteran, Staff Sergeant, US Army) has 10 years of military hazmat and ordnance experience. Joel converts paint deemed too sour for reuse into a solid waste material, protecting the soil and water tables from liquid paint contamination.
• Kimberly D., Collections Specialist
Kim is a licensed fine artist, faux finisher, and loves helping our customers keep paint out of the landfills!
• Lee H., Collections Specialist and Events Manager
Lee (retired, US Navy) with 30+ yrs operational experience with foreign ordnance and equipment, and combat and operational experience in multiple theaters, is equipped for battle to rescue local landfills from latex paint and run our paint recycling events. Personal decorations include the Bronze Star, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and two Combat Action Ribbons.
• Morgan J., Druid and Planet Protector Gladiator
Morgan has over 10 years paint retail sales experience at Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams stores, including specialty paints for Hollywood movie studios. Morgan converts paint deemed too sour for reuse into a solid waste material, protecting the soil and water tables from liquid paint contamination.

Paul (veteran, Corporal, USMC) has 8 years of military hazmat and ordnance experience, including several Navy Achievement Medals, and loves helping our customers keep paint out of the landfills!

Yuck Old Paint is a Virginia Governor Northam and Maryland Governor Hogan qualified “Essential Business”, and is open for business! Our customers’ health and safety are of the utmost importance to us. We go to you. And you may just leave your paint cans outside your doorstep.
